{"id":267,"date":"2022-01-07T18:13:44","date_gmt":"2022-01-07T21:13:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gladiston.net.br\/?page_id=267"},"modified":"2022-07-13T16:05:16","modified_gmt":"2022-07-13T19:05:16","slug":"opcoes-de-ancoragem-das-ferramentas-toolbox","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/gladiston.net.br\/en\/programacao\/lazarus-ide\/opcoes-de-ancoragem-das-ferramentas-toolbox\/","title":{"rendered":"Toolbox docking options"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Right-click on the dock lines and go to\u00a0<strong>Docking options:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gladiston.github.io\/hello_lazarus\/assets\/ide_anchor_options1.png\" alt=\"Docking options\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Then the window below will appear, which you may need to change to better match your needs, but note that some of these options may not be present in Lazarus 2.0.12:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gladiston.github.io\/hello_lazarus\/assets\/ide_anchor_options2.png\" alt=\"Op\u00e7\u00f5es disponiveis para docagem\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Drag threshold:<\/strong>\u00a0drag limit on the panel that allows dragging from one point to another, although I didn&#039;t find an explanation, I believe that \u201c4\u201d is \u201c4 pixel\u201d of approximation to consider as a collapsible object.<\/li><li><strong>Splitter width:<\/strong>\u00a0width of that point where the cursor appears (crHSplit) where with the approach of the mouse we are allowed to adjust the height of the docking, this here:<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gladiston.github.io\/hello_lazarus\/assets\/ide_anchor_options2a.png\" alt=\"Op\u00e7\u00f5es disponiveis para docagem\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Header Style(Header Style):<\/strong>\u00a0Header is the text or title of these windows that dock each other, particularly \u201cPoints\u201d or \u201cThemedCaption\u201d are my preference, but feel free to disagree.<\/li><li><strong>Multiline Tabs:<\/strong>\u00a0When the number of tabs in a dock is greater than the width of the container panel then we will have a side-scrolling, but if we activate this option a new tab will appear on a second line below and will avoid side-scrolling. This is sometimes good for panels that we use a lot and avoid side-scrolling, but the aesthetics get messed up. Turn it on and if you don&#039;t like it turn it off. I&#039;ve always been using &quot;off&quot;.
